Lifting the Fenton House

The Texas soil is so full of clay, that the ground moves.  Either wet or dry, the ground shrinks or swells.  Lifts, cracks and drops.   The Fenton house needed to be lifted about 5 inches on one corner. and each corner, is at a diffrent height.  So the lifters showed up today to lift the house.

 Termites chewed the beams, so new beams were installed.
