More Rain and Fossils

It is a beautiful day, the rain continues, but the temperature is manageable,  I love it I can finally walk around and take pictures, without melting.  The air fills vibrant, and the sky is beautiful with puffy clouds, ready to drop rain at any time.

So today we found our first Praying Mantis, we have seen egg cases on the tree's and the wood,
and they were very small cases, I'm not sure if this is the full size of this little guy.
If thats the case not everything in Texas is BIG!
It would make since that the small egg cases come from small Praying Mantis
 Elder Gibson checking on me!
The textured walls, they look good.

So the weather is great, and the rain as covered the rocks making them
wet, and when wet the fossils show up more pronounced.
 A sea shell
The impression of a shell
 The opal shell fragments

All three fossils, impression cut and opal shell.
This shell is not orange, but still a spiral shell

This one shows the opal shell within the rock.

It was fun, looking for the fossils, I love outdoors right now, it
is so nice to have a short reprieve from the heat.
The sky is spectacular!!!!
